[MY DIY] COLOR WRAP BRACELET

While in Florida, I am making some jewelry to sell at an art show here. Most the pieces are made of chain, pearls and rhinestones, but I decided to also make bunch of colorful wrap bracelets inspired by the tribal necklace I made my last time I visited. Since the weather is warming up, I thought you all might like the step-by-step for these bracelets. The color combos are sure to brighten any outfit!  

Supplies:  Scissors, Buttons, Leather rope, Craft Cord

First, double up the rope and cut a piece long enough to wrap around your wrist 2.5 times. 

Next (the hardest part for me) picking colors! 

After you have your colors, line the ends of the craft cord with the loop in the middle of your leather rope.

Make a knot with the leather rope and craft cords, leaving a large enough loop for your button to go through. 

Start wrapping you first color cord around the learope and the other strings of craft cord

Continue to wrap alternating colors

When you reach the end, tie the craft cord around leather rope. Double knot. 

Next thread the leather rope through the button hole

Double knot and cut off the excess ends. I always like to dot a little superglue on the knots for extra hold. 

Secure on your wrist by putting the button through the loop, and stack a bunch!
