Vi esse DIY e me lembrei direto do carnaval! Olhem se não é bacana! E veio lá do nosso já conhecido Dana's Fashion Blog que como sempre, tem passo-a-passo ultra explicativo, nem necessitando de tradução! ADOROOOOOOOOO!
Even behind today’s DIY Advent calendar door hides a “readers request“, because I promised this DIY tutorial to Gabriela and Anna already in July. I could now say “Good things need time”, but the fact is that I had no time to write it. “Better late than never”, as the hair accessories now fit perfectly into the party-and-ball season.
For this fashion DIY tutorial you need:
1 some felt
2 scissors
3 feathers (
marabou feathers , duck feathers)
4 sequins applications (hobby shop or
via eBay )
5 craft glue
6 hair comb, hair clip or headband
THE DIY TUTORIAL
Take the hair comb as a measure and cut the felt a little larger and about 2 centimeters wider than the hair comb.
Coat craft clue on one half of the felt.
Cut off the thick parts of the feather stems …
… and glue them to the felt. Then put again a layer of craft glue over it …
… and glue the next feathers.
Again coat a thin layer of glue on the feathers and fold the bottom side of the felt above them.
Glue the sequins applications to the felt and to the lower parts of the feather stems.
Cut the surplus felt a few millimeters above the sequined applications.
Coat the top of the hair comb with craft glue and glue the finished jewelry to it.
Cut a thin strip of felt …
… and glue it to the backside of the hair comb. Cut off the surplus felt as well. DONE!
THE FINAL RESULT
